Beautiful, long-lasting flowers heralding the spring. Nodding many-petalled flowers form on short stems. Great in baskets too where you can appreciate the intricate markings of the flowers.
This variety has been specially bred and developed by Josef Heuger in Germany from tissue culture rather than from natural cross-pollination that can produce mixed and unpredictable results.
From tissue culture from a single seedling these varieties are beautiful, vigorous and will always produce identical wonderful flowers so you won't be disappointed by their displays.
The post-flower attractive seed-heads take the decorative period of these plants well into May.
The evergreen glossy leaves make great ground cover through the summer months too.
These flowers are delivered to you as young plants that are about 12cm (5in) from root to tip.
Plants at this stage are at the perfect stage of development to grow and flower really fast once planted.
If you receive your plants before April pot up into larger pots and plant out into containers or beds from April onwards.
On a pleasant and dry spring or summer day plant out into soil and water well. As the plants start to flower add a high potassium fertiliser to give your flowers a real boost.See Full Description +
