This delightful black hellebore reveals rose-like flowers with lots of black petals and contrasting yellow centre flower parts. This beautiful and rare moody variety offers big impact to every flower in the winter when other flowers are absent.

Double Queen Mixed first produces palm-like leaves, attractive in themselves and then beautiful flowers from February when their rose-like appearance makes a welcome addition to the winter garden.

Useful Tip:

If growing in containers, plant with early bulbs like snowdrops, aconites and miniature daffodils to herald the end of winter and the start of spring. The black flowers contrast wonderfully with the bright and striking yellows and whites.

Get some sharp secateurs and cut some of the flowers for vases or bouquets bringing a bit of colour to the home.
