NEW TO 2016. Looking for something a little different? Red-fleshed, heavy-yielding main-crop variety whose potatoes holds their colour well on steaming. This versatile crop makes excellent mash potato and chips too so an excellent choice for the kitchen garden.
Order now and your seed potatoes arrive to you as 1kg mesh bag of seed potatoes from January, the perfect time to set the small seed potatoes individually in egg-cartons in a light,cool environment until around March.
Doing this ‘chitting’ process keeps the seed potato ‘eyes’ short and stubby which make strong, robust stems when planting out in March.
