Hyacinth China Pink - Hyacinth Bulbs

£6.99 each

  • Good in pots and containers
  • Will flower well in full sun
  • Hardy Perennial - sow indoors or on a seedbed (April-June); transplant later to flower for many seasons
  • Attracts Bees

Fabulously flamboyant, choose this variety to start off your spring with style. Beautiful scented silk-pink flowers give off charm and a lovely fragrance.

The charm is furthered by China Pink’s ability to grow happily in full sun or dappled shade. Consider growing this beautiful hyacinth bulb under deciduous container trees which blossom in spring, along with narcissi and crocuses.

Plant 3 bulbs in a 20-30cm (8-12in) container in a triangle formation or around 3 for every square foot (30cm²) area of soil at the front of a flower bed. If growing beneath a container tree space 30cm (12in) apart.

How you receive your bulbs

You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.

Can’t plant straight away?

Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
