The true 'English Bluebell'

This  native woodland plant is a classic, and unique to British gardens and woodland. With delightful violet-blue, scented bell-shaped flowers on slender stems above rich green leaves bluebell bulbs look fabulous when planted in drifts where they will naturalise readily.

Excellent under deciduous shrubs and trees in reasonably moist conditions. Also great for interplanting between ferns and hostas.

In smaller gardens bluebells  look wonderful in troughs or large tubs.

Plant the bulbs at least twice their depth into reasonably moist soil in a part shaded position. When flowering has finished allow foliage to die down naturally, this diverts energy back into the bulb for another great display next year.

How you receive your bulbs

You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.

Can’t plant straight away?

Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
