Lemon Grass Seeds
- Infuse in water for lemon tea
- Sow indoors on the windowsill
- Great for containers
An essential herb in any oriental dish. An attractive reed-like grass plant with stems that wave in the wind. Sow and plant in containers and bring into a heated conservatory for all year round supply.
Harvest stems by cutting off at the base of the plant and use fresh as required to add a citrus kick to your fish or meat dishes.
As an alternative, infuse leaves for a lemon flavoured tea. Lemon Grass can be difficult to germinate. Best grown in a heated propagator this seed has been rubbed to remove some of the seed coat making it more permeable to water. This gives superior germination.
We recommend you sow and keep seeds in warmth of 68-77°F (20-25°C). Grow on seedlings in warmth of 59°F (15°C).See Full Description +
