Lily Easy Samba - Bulbs
This gorgeous pollen-free, butterfly-like lily variety has showy, orange flowers with dark brown centres and looks fab either planted in a pot on the patio or in the soil as part of your flowerbed.
Without the pollen there’s no risk of staining clothes or furniture if in vases indoors. And don’t they look just wonderful indoors; this is a great variety for cut flowers. The dramatic orange petals with contrasting black get the attention of all indoors. Wonderful.
Simply plant the bulbs about 3in (8cm) deep in the soil in spring and then watch the lilies develop into beautiful flowers.
We give you 3 plump lily bulbs which will fit 1 pot perfectly. Plant the bulbs in a triangular formation in a pot that’s 12in (30cm) in diameter. Alternatively plant in a flowerbed with bulbs spaced 14in (35cm) apart if you’re growing them as a group of lilies. We recommend a cluster of 5-10 bulbs for a lovely impactful display.
Grow in pots with bulb compost to ensure the plants have the best soil to grow and thrive in. If you grow them in flower beds mix some compost in with the existing soil to give your flowers the best soil to grow in.
