Enjoy the glorious white bell flowers of this highly scented variety. Lily-of-the-valley is a perennial favourite for gardeners across the country. Successful in sun or shade it produces a wonderful carpet of white flowers, high in fragrance and pretty.

So pretty in fact that the Royal Horticultural Society recognises it and has given it the Award of Garden Merit. Plant in containers for the patio, in planters such as a trough for windowsills that is treated to a breeze now and again or plant in garden flower beds to bring them to life in May with flowers captivating in scent and appearance.

Useful Tip:

We recommend that you plant lily-of-the-valley with bluebells, aconites and snowdrops, all perfect for providing carpets of colour beneath trees and shrubs or other garden situations that cast half to full shade.

Add heady fragrance to the home by getting hold of secateurs and cutting some stems. Put them in vases dotted around the house. They flower in May while sweet peas are coming into flower and make the perfect partner for those fabulous cut sweet peas.
