Lupin Chandelier (Band of Nobles Series) is a beautiful yellow lupin that returns year after year on tall stems with a spire of illuminating yellow flowers. The flowers complement the attractive finger-like palmate leaves which hold onto dew and raindrops and glisten in the sunlight.

Plant lupin Chandelier in the centre of your borders. They reach 60cm (24in) high, sometimes taller and offset nearby summer flowers beautifully. Grow with yellow hybrid-tea roses or partner with blue-flowering perennials like echinops (blue globe thistle) or delphiniums.

You can grow lupins in a container as a centrepiece. Surround lupin Chandelier with summer bedding in hot colours of reds and oranges. Nasturtiums make great bordering flowers as do lantanas and marigolds.

Useful tips:

Consider cutting the stems of phlox to add to vases for your windowsills indoors- they partner well in vases with the big blooms of roses. The yellow complements the purple and blues of baptisia and delphiniums and you can add the decorative leaves of peonies to the mix.

If you cut back the flowered stems of lupins in late July you can look forward to a second flush of flowers every year in late summer to early autumn, giving you more for your money.
