Add lupin Gallery White to your garden or balcony, attractive perennial flowers returning each summer and giving you lovely flower spikes revealing linen-white flowers. The leaves offset the flowers well; growing and opening out into open palms. With a downy texture the leaves catch dew drops and raindrops resembling little jewels when they catch the sunlight.

This lupin variety looks lovely planted in the middle of a container as a focal point. Either plant three young specimens in one 30cm (12in) diameter container or plant one in the centre of a container and surround it by edging bedding like white lobelia or white busy Lizzies.

As your lupin plants come into bloom they draw much-loved British insects like honey-bees to them which helps garden biodiversity and brings your garden to life.

Useful Tip:

Get some sharp secateurs and cut some of the flowers for vases or bouquets bringing a bit of colour to the home. Be sure to include leaves as well as they are equally ornamental.
