Add lupin Gallery Yellow to your garden or balcony, attractive perennial flowers returning every summer and giving you lovely flower spikes revealing uplifting yellow flowers. The leaves complement the flowers beautifully; growing and opening out into open palms. With a felty texture the leaves catch dew drops and raindrops, resembling sparkling jewels when they catch the sunlight.

This lupin variety looks lovely planted in the middle of a container as a focal point. Either plant three young specimens in one 30cm (12in) diameter container or plant one in the centre of a container and surround it by edging bedding like yellow cosmos Xanthos, osteospermum Double Yellow, marguerite Yellow and lots more in the Unwins range.

As your lupin plants come into bloom they draw much-loved British insects like honey-bees to them which helps garden biodiversity and brings your garden to life.

Useful Tip:

Get some sharp secateurs and cut some of the flowers for vases or bouquets bringing a bit of colour to the home. Be sure to include leaves as well as they are equally ornamental.
