The bell-shaped individual fruits are firm and fleshy; they can be eaten hard or fully ripe and have a smooth juicy flavour. The trees crop very late in the season from October to November, the fruit will store well into January.

You can enjoy pear conference at its best by picked it when it’s a little under-ripe, you can them store them in a cool place and bring them indoors to ripen slowly. The tree is grafted onto the ‘Quince A’ rootstock producing a moderate vigour and promote fruiting at an early age.
