Look forward to the generous clusters of pinkcurrants in June on three well-furnished bushes. Pluck berries straight from the bush and into your mouth as a refreshing treat. There will still be enough to gather for indoors where they make great gin and dessert side decorations.

Rossalin is an ideal variety for home-growing when your plot is subjected to wet conditions and this plucky pinkcurrant thrives even in hilly area. It is equally happy growing in the low counties of East Anglia and Lincolnshire too.

Ideas for the garden:

Plant your three pinkcurrant Rossalin plants in three 40cm diameter containers filled with rich John Innes No3 compost and some pre-planting soft-fruit fertiliser. This will get your bare-root plants to a flying start.

How your plants arrive:

Your pinkcurrant plants arrives to you as bare-root specimens with some dormant stems but more crucially a healthy set of roots which are eager to get into the ground and grow well over the cold months to support strong stems from the following spring.
