You receive three young plants of three varieties (nine plants in total) arriving to your door in packs that act like mini greenhouses. This means your plants get the right ambiance and the right soil to grow well while they are in transit from our nursery to your home.
You receive three plants each of:
Pumpkin Jill Be Little - Miniature pumpkin type with an attractive orange skin with deep ribs, perfect for roasting whole or drying for table centerpieces.
Pumpkin Harvest Moon - Carving type variety, ideal for Halloween lanterns or chopping up in cubes for roasting for including in a heart-warming ratatouille.
Pumpkin Polar Bear - Ghost-white fruit, perfect for Halloween! Plants produce large white pumpkins weighing up 20–25 kg (44-55 lbs) with contrasting orange flesh.
For a rough guide your nine plants in your pumpkin collection will cover an area of roughly 3m x 3m. Around two weeks before planting, treat your soil to a supply of rich compost or well-rotted manure to give your plants the nutrients they need to get growing.
When your nine pumpkin plants start to flower we recommend that you treat them to a feed of sulphate of potash, to boost the flowering and fruiting stems.See Full Description +
