We despatch our fresh, nursery-grown live plants (including vegetables, trees and flowers) when they are at a stage of growth ready for you, the customer, to plant on at home.
The delivery period shown on your order confirmation indicates when you can expect to receive your order and we will endeavour to despatch your plants in this period within 7-14 days
Good quality and good value
2 out of 6 had bare roots snapped in two, leaving very little for the plant.
Difficult to rate the raspberry canes yet as i haven't long recieved them as bare root canes.
Raspberry - Long Cropping Collection x6
Delicious heavy cropping varieties, full of flavour and goodness. All fully frost hardy and drought tolerant. Delivered as bare root canes from October. Ready to plant straight away. Collection includes:
2 x Raspberry Cascade Delight An early floricane variety cropping June/July. Vigorous and very reliable, performs well on wetter soils. Height over 3ft/1m.
2 x Raspberry Tadmor A mid-season floricane variety cropping July. Spine-free for easy picking, compact and rigid with little need of support. Height up to 3ft/1m. HB
2 x Raspberry Polka A late primocane variety cropping on the new wood from August to October. Polka yields exceptionally on poorer soil. Height up to 4.5ft/1.5m
Cut down cane to about 2cm (1in) above ground level at the time of planting. This will encourage multiple canes to grow from the ground.
Floricane (summer-fruiting) varieties fruit on canes produced in the previous year. After fruiting, cut out the old, fruited wood in autumn/winter and tie in the new growths to the support. Cut down cane to about 2cm (1in) above ground level at the time of planting. This will encourage multiple canes to grow from the ground.
Primocane (autumn-fruiting) varieties fruit on canes produced in the current year. After cropping, these should be cut down to ground level to promote the growth of new canes. Allow primocane raspberry beds to spread up to 2.5ft/0.75m wide but dig out any canes which start to grow between the rows.See Full Description +
