Rose City of London produces masses of strongly scented shell pink roses that flower in dainty clusters. It is a rose that will fit in to most sized gardens and any planting style.

This is a classic floribunda rose, and, with Rose Margaret Merril as one of its parents, this rose has an excellent pedigree. Rose City of London looks superb growing through a boundary fence or in a mixed border. Team this rose with peonies and lavenders for a traditional and sweetly scented, planting scheme.

Plant roses into good garden soil that has been well dug and weeded; improve poor soil with compost.

Dig a hole wide enough to take the roots of the rose without cramping. Position the rose centrally in the planting hole with the bump on the stem (the graft union) level with the soil surface.

Back fill with soil to cover the rose’s roots, firm in gently and water well.

Your bare root roses will be delivered at the right time for planting, normally between autumn and early spring, depending on weather conditions. Unpack them immediately and plant as soon as possible after delivery.

Your bare root roses will be sent out with full planting and care instructions.

Prune roses to shape in spring.

Deadhead spent flowers as they fade to prolong the display.
