Rose Madrigal has real charm with its ruffled double flowers, the very strongly scented crimson blooms repeat flower all summer. It is a vigorous and healthy floribunda rose with strong stems that make perfect cut flowers as well as looking good in the border.

Plant Rose Madrigal in a group to make a spectacular centrepiece for a bed or border or plant these tall roses along a boundary fence.

Rose Madrigal will fill a garden with perfume on its own but add a fragrant honeysuckle and sweet peas to the mix and you’ll have a real treat for the senses.

Plant

Plant roses into good garden soil that has been well dug and weeded; improve poor soil with compost.

Dig a hole wide enough to take the roots of the rose without cramping. Position the rose centrally in the planting hole with the bump on the stem (the graft union) level with the soil surface.

Back fill with soil to cover the rose’s roots, firm in gently and water well.

Your bare root roses will be delivered at the right time for planting, normally between autumn and early spring, depending on weather conditions. Unpack them immediately and plant as soon as possible after delivery.

Your bare root roses will be sent out with full planting and care instructions.
