Rich and decadent wine-red perennials for the back or centre of your flower borders or in containers as part of modern garden displays. Dark wine-red petals surround a central, near-black cone for flowers high in colour intensity and character.

Cherry Brandy is naturally fast-growing, reaching 70cm (28in) so makes a fast-performing perennial for the centre of a flower bed. We suggest you plant with contrasting yellow flowers like yellow kniphofia or hollyhocks. Place yellow day lilies in front to complete your perennial border.

Easy maintenance, these flowers grow quickly if you treat them to moist soil and a sunny site. Cherry Brandy returns year on year with more stems coming up every year. Put one young plant in a 30cm (12in) pot or nine within a four square metre (square yard) area.

What a flower! Brings in beneficial pollinators like bees and hoverflies, which feed on garden pests and pollinate other flowers.
