Enjoy watching the leaves of Spiraea Pink Ice give you a gorgeous display of pink foliage in spring turning to green and pink in late spring and then mottled green and white for summer and into autumn.

While the leaves are pink and green Spiraea Pink Ice bursts into white flower for a tricolor display of white, green and pink. So impressive in its own right yet if you want to up the impact surround with spring-planting bulbs like white daffodils, crocuses and even pink tulips.

Tall and shrubby in growth Spiraea Pink Ice is ideal planted towards the back of flower beds. It is dense and shrubby enough to create a hedge, positioning individual plants around 60cm (24in) apart in a row – a lovely backdrop to perennial flowers.

Being fully hardy Spiraea Pink Ice will thrive in gardens up and down the country. Spiraea Pink Ice is low maintenance and will flower every year given moist soil.

Useful Tip:

If you want to keep it looking at its best just give it a light trim of around 2cm (3/4 in) all over with sharp secateurs in mid-summer to keep the shrub in good shape and give it time to produce flowering stems for the following year.
