Strawberry Parfum Freeclimber x3

£15.98 each

  • Good in pots and containers
  • Will flower well in full sun
  • Hardy Perennial - sow indoors or on a seedbed (April-June); transplant later to flower for many seasons

Save your knees and back with strawberry Freeclimber, a variety producing fruiting runners that you can easily train up a trellis or canes. When it comes to harvest time, you have sweet, juicy strawberries you can pick without having to crouch right down to the ground.

At less than £16 you receive 3 strawberry plants with the potential to produce 9 punnets of strawberries. That works out at less than £2 per punnet of delicious strawberries ripened in the sun and fuller in flavour than supermarket equivalents that have undergone a chilling period.

We recommend you plant 1 plant per 12in (30cm) diameter container with supports.

How you receive your plant?

You receive your strawberry plants in a 12cm pot with a well-rooted soil mass and small plant attached which is itching to get established in the ground to support lots of strong fruiting stems in the growing season for delicious strawberries.

Your pots are wrapped in polythene to create a perfect humid air environment around the leaves while your plants leave our nursery and arrive at your door.

Can’t plant straight away?

You can keep your young plants in their plastic wrap over for as long as 3-5 days so long as you make sure the soil part around the roots is kept moist.

Keep your plants in a light, cool position like an unheated porch or greenhouse.

Look to planting in their permanent position within 5 days.
