Cambridge Favourite makes delicious strawberry jams and preserves, if you can manage not to eat them all en route to the kitchen. They are great for freezing too because it holds its shape better than most other varieties.

We recommend you plant strawberries in a sunny position, into moist but free draining soil. Plant with the base of the stems (known as the crown) level with the soil and water well throughout the season.
