I realise bare root plants don't look great, but I felt I couldn't plant these directly and am nursing them in a seed tray - only time will tell if I've got value for money, but currently there are only 3 plants showing growth and only one of these looks strong. I did read the other reviews first so I suppose I knew what I was getting.
Poor quality. I have nothing else to add.
Good plants small but in good condition
Sweet Violet - Viola odorata x6
One waft of the parma violet scent of these Sweet Violets (Viola odorata) will take you back down memory lane! Delicate-looking violets are sweet enough to eat - when sugared the flowers can be used to decorate cakes- but they are tough customers too, taking anything the winter brings.
The wonderful old-fashioned scent of these much loved perennials can now be enjoyed in your home and in your garden.
Sweet violets are one of the sweetest smelling plants ever grown in British gardens.
Once established, these hardy little plants will provide you with sweet smelling, spreading carpets of flower in wooded or shady areas of your garden.
