£6.99 each

  • Good in pots and containers
  • Varieties suitables for cutting
  • Will flower well in full sun
  • Hardy Perennial - sow indoors or on a seedbed (April-June); transplant later to flower for many seasons

A beautiful tulip named in memory of four-year old leukaemia-victim Madalyn Barnett. Lovely pink petals grow out like twisted candy peel or a flickering flame. A wonderful colour and wonderful form. Lily-flowered type.

Grow with tulips that have traditional cup-shaped flowers like tulip Ronaldo for a lovely contrast and visually-compelling displays.

In 30cm (12in) containers plant 12-15 bulbs- you can plant more of this variety on account of its slim yet stylish petals that fit in a small space. If growing in open soil plant 12-15 in a square foot (30cm²) area.

How you receive your bulbs

You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.

Can’t plant straight away?

Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
