Strong-stemmed variety perfect for more exposed garden. A two-tone red and tulips with red based and lovely white tips. Triumph type

Beautiful red and white flowers emerge on broad green succulent leaves that look very much like hosta leaves. Unlike hostas, these leaves are less susceptible to slug damage.

Consider growing this Triumph type with orange tulips like Orange Balloon for sunset displays that highlight sunny borders. Works in beds, containers and as cut flowers.

Plant 12 bulbs to every 30cm (12in) diameter container in a courtyard garden or on a patio, alternatively 12 bulbs around every square foot (30cm²) area of soil in a sunny bed.

How you receive your bulbs

You receive our spring-flowering bulbs in autumn in a plastic mesh. This is to keep the bulbs together in a pack which is nice and airy – perfect to keep the bulbs healthy while in transit.

Can’t plant straight away?

Keep your bulbs in a cool, light and dry place and preferably hanging on a hook so that air can get to the bulbs at all angles. Look to planting your bulbs within a week of receiving them.
