This beautiful new variety is available for you to buy. Verbena Showboat Magenta has extra-large flower heads, densely packed with cute pink-magenta flowers with central white eyes in big numbers, lasting from early summer and into autumn.

Showboat Magenta looks beautiful spilling over the sides of containers and hanging baskets. We recommend you grow this variety in its own right, positioning three young plants to a 30cm (12in) container so they are packed in and really make a show when they are in full flower in summer.

This new variety shows excellent resistance to mildew which means you get successful flowering even in unpredictable summer of haphazard rainy and sunny weather.

Verbena Showboat Magenta grows happily in a sunny part of the garden or part of the garden that receives sun for some of the day. If growing in containers use a multi-purpose compost and keep it moist, watering once a day, or twice in hot and windy spells.
